Wicked Ways 25th – 26th July

Well aside from Monster Trio with Greg and friends on Friday, Wicked Aura will be holding their 5th Anniversay with Aya and friends at Blu Jaz Cafe, come Saturday. So join us to rock out, it WILL be a blast….

And in the LOUNGE, 2nd Floor, we see Pushin’ On, back with a little sumthin’ sumthin’ on Friday. In full effect this month, DJ Shellsuit & MC Masterpiece return from a successful Europe tour. Together with DJ Chunk, they’re set to bomb you with new hits from digging deep around Europe and the UK, including some Spanish funk and rare 45s.

And it’s the launch of the first Pushin’On t-shirt. These limited-edition threads were designed by Eeshaun www.eeshaun.com. Available in S, M and L sizes, they’ll be on sale on the night at a special price of $30. Eeshaun will also be drawing live at the launch party. This would be a good night to break that piggy bank.

14th July – 19th July @ Blu Jaz

Something special with the first RED & WHITE - a wine tasting event at Blu Jaz Space (3rd Flr) or fondly known as the Chapel to some on Thursday the 17th July. 7 different wines from Queensland Australia, this is a rainbow friendly event hosted by the Wine Symphony. R.S.V.P IS required and entry to an evening of good conversation and great wine is at SGD 28 NETT - cash preferred. Kyoko returns with belly dance night on the 18th July but this time, we’ve booked the Lounge for her (2nd floor) as the space has been reserved for a not-so-secret private party…. so what you waiting for? Come on down for 2 sets of belly dancing commencing from 9:30pm onwards. Chill out with us prior to that from 7pm

Meanwhile, Greg takes his Monster Trio for another ride of smooth jazz and intricate notes down at Blu Jaz Cafe – 1st Floor – on Friday, 18th July.

Ayaschool special on the 19th July: Something wicked comes this way with Budi, Hanafi and Salle from Wicked Aura teaming up with Aya for a sinful set this Saturday. Escola De Ayazinha com De Craque – Anything is possible with Ayaschool – so get your butts down to Blu Jaz Cafe to rockin’ all out!

Due to a successful 1st launch of Hafla @ Blu Jaz Space, our subsequent Halfas will be held on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

Expect more exotic dance movements and spicy rhythms for the haflas.

Providing visual treats will be our belly dancers from various schools and professional individuals
