For a cultural shake up, join our Thai friends with their amateur live band on 17th July @ Space

And I’m particularly excited about Alternate Retro Night, with Brandon P (of velvet fame) helming DJ consol with 2 other friends (brought to you by Knight Runners) on the 18th July @ Lounge – forget Bananaramas and the likes but look forward to The Cure, the Doors, the Killers and such other past jingles.

We just about round up the month with REGGAE @ lounge with DJ Nomsta and guest on the 24th – so come with dreads and chill with a pint or two.

The Observatory launch their album at blu jaz on 25th  and we’re jumpin’ happy beans about it. more details to come. Where? Space!

Mutant Dub comes back with more mind blowin’ sounds on the 25th .. but this is not to say that our resident music makers are to be missed:  Good Times on 3rd July, 44Beats on 11th July, Dustpan Recordings on 17th July, Hafla (belly dance party!) on the 18th July and of course, Pushin’ On on the 31st July.

1306 and 44 Beatz is back for another monthly soiree at Blu Jaz down on Bali Lane. June’s gig finds them on the 2nd Floor with a spruced up sound system and a big bag of tunes. Get set for another eclectic set from Raeburn J as he takes control at 9pm and spins an uplifting, soul fueled mix of Acid Jazz and electronica.

Late on Music Makers play back to back n finish the night off with whatever feels right and fits your mood. Could be techno , could be electro or breaks. Last month it was drum n bass and that was fun!
