Before the heavy partying begin, we be going a little arty but nothing to farty… with Art Salon: It’s a mish-mash of featured visual and performing artists in their line up this WEDNESDAY @ SPACE. Come by, have some dinner, drinks, have a visual and auditory blast of a time! Oh yes, and don’t forget those sketch materials – there will be a life drawing sessions in between stage performances! There is a minimum donation of $7/person at the door, proceeds of your kind donation will benefit featured artists and the pooling of the salon fund. Apologies to the late start of the week and we hope that you managed to catch KeRong’s band @ Space on Monday for a very special preview.
But worry not if you missed that great jazz sets, come tonight (WEDNESDAY), we have Eddy’s Jam Session @ Cafe and they promise to get you some soul for that body. 9pm onwards.
And if you’re hankering for an early start to your celebrations, join Vibes 2011 @ Lounge and Space this THURSDAY. It’s music for mainstream, leaning towards house and electro. Chill it before we heat it up. Entry is SGD 15 and that includes 1st drink. 7pm onwards
We have the velvet voice back @ Blu Jaz Cafe this FRIDAY. It’s none other than FENDIIIIIII - a heart-melt of a voxbox, you’ll get some funk and soul swinging your way. 9:30pm onwards. On TUESDAY, the French Duo Huguette & Toufik (Hugo et Sophie) from France, two crazy cupcakes starting their world tour with music!
Guitar, ukulele and harmonica… rhythm, folk and reggae covers to make you shake your bootie and chill. A groovy duet taking over LOUNGE (2nd floor) with an accoustic set to celebrate life. Musical journey of reflection and quiet joy. 9pm onwards. And it’s “gratuit” (complimentary to all music seekers)
We take things up a notch on WEDNESDAY with Eddy’s Jam Session @ Cafe. A band whose passion for jazz meshed together with the love of performing – sharing this cool genre with you. Bring self. 9pm onwards.

With a line up of more than 15 DJs, covering a wide range of genres from Hip Hop, Funk & Soul and Reggae to Electronica, you’re going to find something to set you dancing and carry on till wee hours of the night. Apologies for the late update and if you’ve missed the great OMNIFORM on Monday – we truly apologise – BUT the good news is that they’ll be back again in January 2012 – a brand new year.
Tonight we had the captivating singer-songwriter, Julianne, from Philippines, make her debut at Blujaz Cafe! Julianne has performed at Mosaic Music Festival as well as Baybeats 2011. And we hope you caught some of her beautiful songs.
WEDNESDAY sees Matrix Jam @ Lounge with George leading this merry bunch of music makers. Bring your good, bootie-shakin’ self on up. 8:30pm onwards
Come FRIDAY, we have a farewell jam to Jamie Castrisos. Accompanying this fantabulous drummer, are Sebastian Ho on guitar, Brandon Wong on bass and Aya Sekine on keys. Sets being from 9:30pm onwards @ Cafe
LilaDrums is going to give a synchrony of rhythms and bass with their DJEMBE session. Taking over Blu Jaz Cafe on SATURDAY - it promises to be a Red-Bull level performance with loadsa dancing and don’t be surprise if you go through a catharsis. 9:30pm onwards.
