Calling all jazz junkies – Grooveworks gives you jazz-ma-taz for your mid week fix, head on up to SPACE for some live grooves. 9pm onwards.
WEDNESDAY
Grooveworks II presents jam session @ Cafe with a sound of smooth and cool. 9pm onwards
Join DJ Divine for our weekly Reggae session if you seek some tropical vibes and make like lounge lizzards while you let Jo Jo – our resident bartender- mix up a glass of your preferred brew. 9pm onwards @ LOUNGE
THURSDAY
ooh-wee, and slap on those socks and comfy shoes while you jump, slide, kick around with those Jitterbugs Lindy Hoppers @ Cafe. It’s a night of swing music for the dancers and the wannabes, while the rest of you get a taste of some darker magic with Danny, our favorite illusionist. Dance floor opens from 8:30pm and so does the roving entertainment
FRIDAY
For all who enjoy improv jazz and some killer saxaphone solos, don’t miss Greg Lyons Quartet this Friday. It’s a talented mix when Greg and friends play. 9:30pm onwards @ Cafe
Pushin’On pumps up the house with their brand of funk, soul, house. It’s almost guaranteed that your butt ain’t staying glued to those seats when they’re behind the decks. 9:30pm onwards @ LOUNGE
SATURDAY
So this is the night and Aya has something freaky planned out – it’s all in the air, she says. The line up kicks a55 with Mohd Noor on percussion, Casey Subramaniam (bass), both Aya and Christine Sham keys – wonder if there’ll be a piano duel between the ladies. And these lovely peeps are all celebrating their birthdays with us, so join us ofr a night of mayhem. 9:30pm onwards @ Cafe
44 Beatz is throwing a party and that means you! Having fallen off various bandwagons we thought we’d hitch a ride on the… Halloween stage coach. Music Transcends Boundaries – A SMU effort to raise funds for Operation Smile. 7pm – 10pm
Project Cleft is a not-for-profit student-initiated project, led by an independent team of Singapore Management University SMU) Undergraduates, which aims to bring awareness and attention to the plight of children with facial deformities, namely those who suffer from the Cleft Lip/Palates medical condition.
Our objectives are to promote student development through the Malay arts and raise publicity for our beneficiary, Operation Smile, through the sale and promotion of a new and exclusive Malay song album.
