This cup is full of surprises and it’s kinda sad that we’re waving off S Korea…. the group of nice(looking) young lads….. However, there are more exciting matches and we continue screening these battles in full volume: Netherlands vs Slovakia tonight and Spain vs Portugal tomorrow.
For those who are completely oblivious to the ball fever, join Grooveworks @ Cafe on Tuesday from 9pm for an aural delight and once more on Wed @ Cafe from 9pm onwards for Grooveworks II – same heart, different sound. Boogey on up to Lounge for some sounds from a different tropical island. DJ Divine does Reggae on Wednesdays
And we will be laughing out loud or cringing in silent with Open Mic Night. 8pm onwards @ Lounge this THURSDAY - be it talented spiel or a heartfelt attempt, we’re all friends and in for a good time. SGD 10 for cover. If the gift of gab is not bestowed unto you, perhaps the feet would prefer to do the talking. It’s smokey passion and haunting melodies – Grey Lyons’ Quartet brings some jazz to the house. 9:30pm onwards @ Cafe on FRIDAY. But for those how are feeling more sprightly and wanna ‘get down with it’, Good Times throw on their most fabulous, awesome, kick-a$$ party @ Lounge. 9:30pm onwards – as always
