Ahoy maties – recovering from a weekend of party hopping and excess liquid intake? We’re inviting you to CHILL with us, before the next big thing!

MONDAY

Our mega group, Omniform,  is back with a new face in the band….constantly evolving, innovating and stand-up jazz! Faithfully on the 1st Mondays of every month from 9pm @ Cafe

TUESDAY

Have a seat, get a drink, loosen your tie, kick of those heels and join us with Grooveworks, served – chilled. 9pm @ Space

WEDNESDAY

A second round of great jazz but this time spruced up and revved up with Grooveworks II – the other crew under Greg Lyons’ jazz study program. 9pm onwards@Cafe

And calling all other musicians – Matrix Jam is BACK with George leading the jam – come on up to Lounge to show off your music moves. Usually seeing musicians from various groups, Matrix Jam offers a night of great synergy and fun. 9pm onwards @ LOUNGE

THURSDAY

Magic from Mr Danny is OFF this month as he retreats to mountain high in meditation for some new tricks up his sleeve BUT the LINDY HOPPERS from Jitterbugs still make like feet fly! Join us for an evening of swing dancing and if you don’t know how – ask Sing from Jitterbugs dance school. 8pm onwards @ CAFE

GalaxyIn preparation for an up and coming recording, Darren Moore ‘Galaxy’ will perform one last gig for 2009 before they go into the studio!  The group features Darren on drums, Greg Lyons on sax, Andrew Lim on guitar, Tim O’Dwyer on sax and Tony Makarome on bass.  The music is all written by Darren with a range of influences from modern jazz to free jazz to free improv to electronic music to funk.

The gig starts at 9pm this thursday 5th november at Blu Jaz (3rd floor), admission is $10

FRIDAY
Fancy some Coltrane or maybe even some Parker? Our band might give you waht you want – featuring Greg on sax, the Lyons’ Quartet is back. They bring some well-love tunes as well as some of their own reciepe to the stage. 9:30pm@ Cafe
Good Times – as the name promises, deliver some great funk, soul and R&B where the tunes are so good that moving our furniture for you to bust your signature moves is a given! Go on up from 9:30pm @ Lounge!

SATURDAY
It’s Ayaschool and if you’ve missed last Sat’s birthday celebrations, join us for another crazzzzy sat night of music – where even, I , would not know what to expect. But whatever it is, it’s always gooood. 9:30pm @ Cafe
Craving for some Deep House? Dan Paris, Julian Moore, Alex H and DashB boys are on the DA HOUSE. They be bringing you beats and mixes from their own personal collection. Non Commercial. Come on up and say hi to the boys! 9:30pm onwards @ Lounge
And drumroll for something else that we’re going to get really excited about! It’s STICK IT ON! Wanna be a DJ? Wanna have your music heard and have all your friends and maybe some more crazy over it?
