EGADS! One must admit one’s age when one has let go an entire 4 days before an update! However, all is not lost and it’s the end of the month! A very exciting time indeed, we get paid (right, boss?) we unwind ( a lot ), Pushin’ On is playing tonight – an insane set of funk, soul, going wild @ Lounge from 9:30pm onwards. And if we’re not feeling all that untamed but love the good vibes and notes coursing through our bloodstream, hang out with Greg Lyons’ Quartet from 9:30pm @ Cafe.

And if a nutty Friday enough, carry on with Ayaschool on Saturday with more than good vibrations – a congregation of the most talented, sweetest, passionate music makers in town – the conclave is CAFE and they kick off from 9:30pm

It’s a cool week and we bring you programs just as cool – starting with Blink-Bl_nk – an engaging session of talks and discussion on WEDNESDAY from 7pm @ Space. This week hits close to the heart with – The Future of Singapore Hawker Centres by Elizabeth Bennett, find ways to improve your life with Carl Coryell-Martin: Building a Life: Lean Manufacturing and Agile Development Applied to Everyday Living and join us for the implication on privacy with the effects of cybernetics and memory: The Price of Perfect Memory. And if chillin’ is your thing, DJ Divine is our residential Reggae master serving up mixes of tropics and breeze @ Lounge from 9pm onwards.

And to rev it up, Mohd Noor still holds court @ Cafe on FRIDAY from 9:30pm with stunning music-try and infectious beats. Head on up to SPACE from 9pm onwards for Twilight over Tokyo for some indie flava.

Cool man on bass – Willy – leads the merry music maker on SATURDAY @ Cafe – for jazz with just a touch of funk and soul. 9:30pm onwards.

We won’t blame you if you’re feeling that mellow mood and we invite you to chill out with us tonight over some soothing jazz sounds. Grooveworks @ Cafe from 9pm onwards serenade us over a glass or two.

Grooveworks II revs it up just a notch on WEDNESDAY @ Cafe from 9pm onwards with some uptempo jazz. And if reggae has your name on it, DJ Divine spins a pretty mean set up @ Lounge. 9pm onwards. If you’d like to test your funny bone, join us for open mic night @ space from 7:30p onwards

Greg Lyon’s Quartet swing in and gets YOU swingin’ with their awesome sets this FRIDAY. From 9:30pm onwards @ Cafe, join them for a great session. And we have Basement In My Loft & Shelves branching out towards indie, so catch them @ Space from 8p onwards.

It’s magic with Muhd Noor and friends as the bring you some funk, soul, jazz and all those things that Mama said was magic. 9:30pm onwards on SATURDAY @ Cafe. Christian and Diana organize another Open Mic for funny lads @Lounge, starts 8pm. Join Para-Para synth @ Space from 9pm onwards with a night of synthful delights.. italo house, eurodisco (ah yeah!), synthpop and your favourite hands-in-the-air-and-wave Dance Dance Revolution-Super Eurobeat Vol XII songs. Twas a lovely night when music broke asunder from the 13 man group – OMNIFORM - a first Monday of the month occurrence. And tonight if you missed some soul, join Grooveworks while they jam out @ Cafe from 8:30pm onwards

And Grooveworks II will claim your attention with their beautiful notes, come Wednesday @ Cafe from 9pm. And should you appreciate the unexpected, join us for Matrix Jam, held @ Lounge from 8:30pm onwards.

For a lil night magic, join Willy and friends @ Cafe from 9:30pm onwards this wonderful Friday. It will be a good good night. And with those who walk to a different beat, head on up to Space with Allura from 9pm onwards for some DJ jammin’.

This cup is full of surprises and it’s kinda sad that we’re waving off S Korea…. the group of nice(looking) young lads….. However, there are more exciting matches and we continue screening these battles in full volume: Netherlands vs Slovakia tonight and Spain vs Portugal tomorrow.

For those who are completely oblivious to the ball fever, join Grooveworks @ Cafe on Tuesday from 9pm for an aural delight and once more on Wed @ Cafe from 9pm onwards for Grooveworks II – same heart, different sound. Boogey on up to Lounge for some sounds from a different tropical island. DJ Divine does Reggae on Wednesdays

And we will be laughing out loud or cringing in silent with Open Mic Night. 8pm onwards @ Lounge this THURSDAY - be it talented spiel or a heartfelt attempt, we’re all friends and in for a good time. SGD 10 for cover. If the gift of gab is not bestowed unto you, perhaps the feet would prefer to do the talking. An unpredictable wind is blowing – the flood downtown resulting in a temporary (muddy) river down Orchard Road, France lost both games and Italy didn’t come up on top…. but luckily things pass and all can be settled and right again…

It’s still all groovy with us and we’re bringing you live music – brilliantly played as always – Grooveworks takes stage @ Cafe for both TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY from 9pm onwards. And if you’re seeking to march to a different beat, scamper on up to Lounge for some REGGAE with DJ Divine on Wed from 9pm.

It is the last Friday of the month and Pushin’On is going to blow us away with their funky sounds. 9:30pm onwards @ Lounge. While the beat is a thumpin’ upstairs, the mood is snazzy cool with Muhd Noor and gang, giving us inspiration for moves. 9:30pm onwards @ Cafe.
