27th April – 2nd May

April 26, 2009

Happy Labour Day and YES we are OPEN!

It looks the heat spell is going to last for quite a run with heavy showers making presence felt at various parts of Singapore at different times of the day- it’s easy to predict weather in Singapore and we promise that it’s just as easy to predict the experience here at Blu Jaz – great food and reasonably priced drinks with perhaps some minor hiccups but our friendly service staff will make up for that with their enthusiasm. You come often round enough, we assure you, we DO address you by your name. So cool your heels with some cold beer or turn the heat up with some of our hot parties!

30th April

Fanka Fellas storm Blu Jaz Cafe (1st Flr) with their Djembe for no reason other than a celebratory of a 4 day work week! 8pm onwards

1st April

Our resident band on Friday – Greg Lyon’s Quartet - rounds up the usual suspect and deliver some cool jazz in the early night which melds to some crazy tempo after midnight. Come jam, dance. sing, go crazy with us – 9:30pm onwards @ Cafe (1st Flr)

It’s the 1st Friday of the month! This means, we go nuts, we pop the champagne, we down some beer (in 30 sec!) because “Good Times” is baaaaackkk. An unique event where everybody is invited to let their guard down, shimmy on to good old school tunes, funky breaks, and boogie into the night as we up the tempo and beat.

“Good Times” is all for a night out with your best mates, filled with zany incidents and crazy antics. We invite you to rock up to a night where you are the master of the dance floor.

We’ll clear a space for you to bust your signature moves. The night will feature a progressive mix of old school hiphop, breaks, electro, minimal, house, dubstep, dnb and jungle provided by your favorite DJs…

DJ Fats
