There is nothing that quite beats the first waft of cafe aroma on a Monday morning. After your cuppa, we invite you to our humble abode for our lovely set lunch – what better way to stuck the week with a little personal treat.
On TUESDAY, the French Duo Huguette & Toufik (Hugo et Sophie) from France, two crazy cupcakes starting their world tour with music!
Guitar, ukulele and harmonica… rhythm, folk and reggae covers to make you shake your bootie and chill. A groovy duet taking over LOUNGE (2nd floor) with an accoustic set to celebrate life. Musical journey of reflection and quiet joy. 9pm onwards. And it’s “gratuit” (complimentary to all music seekers)
We take things up a notch on WEDNESDAY with Eddy’s Jam Session @ Cafe. A band whose passion for jazz meshed together with the love of performing – sharing this cool genre with you. Bring self. 9pm onwards.
Are you born in the 60s, the 70s? Do you reminisce the good o’days watching old Hong Kong slapstick or heart wrenching Gangster Movies like Young & Dangerous and Fight Back to School? Do Stephan Chow, Andy Lau, Chow Yun Fatt, Sandra Ng, Ng Meng Tat come easily to mind? Curly and Sam bring you a movie screening DOWN MEMORY LANE @ LOUNGE on THURSDAY - from 8pm onwards.
The gorgeous and wonderful Anne Weerapass will grace us with her enchanting voice this FRIDAY @ Cafe. So come on by and catch the repertoire of cool sounds and sizzling vocals from 9:30pm onwards.
Wrapping up the week, just gorgeously, this SATURDAY are:
Ayaschool – Naughty and Nice, featuring Joanna Dong on vocals, Muhd Noor on drums, Bani on bass – if you’re expecting a traditional arrangements of Christmas carols – bear in mind Jo’s ‘twisted’ humor. 9:30pm onwards @ Cafe.
E-TracX DJ School celebrates their 9th Anniversary and will be blowing your ears and minds off @ Lounge and Space. With a line up of more than 15 DJs, covering a wide range of genres from Hip Hop, Funk & Soul and Reggae to Electronica, you’re going to find something to set you dancing and carry on till wee hours of the night. Doors open as early as 6pm, yo.

Celebrating the last day of August with a Monday may not necessarily be a bad thing… Origins will liven up your night on 31st Aug @ Cafe from 9pm onwards. Catch this unpretentious, feel good, blue grass and sumthin sumthin band for an evening out with mates! AND DO REMEMBER OMNIFORM takes center stage on 7th Sept!
Tues and Wed sees Grooveworks strut their stuff with Greg Lyons helming. 9pm onwards @ Cafe
Magic Swing Fling Thursday - a night of Lindy Hop and Close up illusions featuring Jitterbugs dancers and Danny. Join us for a night with 2 feet an partner, just letting loose to the sounds of the Charleston Swing – or be amazed with our roving Illusionist – Danny. No TV gimmick! Complimentary Class commences from 7:30pm and magic from 8pm
FRIDAY
If Miles Davis and John Coltrane are your cup of tea, you might want to check out Greg Lyon’s Quartet. A serious jazz band, indeed. Whiskey for you? 9:30pm onwards @ Cafe.
For some funk, soul and space to break out your signature dance moves, Good Times, faithfully reproduces great track with DJ skills desired. 9pm onwards @ Lounge.
And it’s a FANTASTIC eclectic night with Muhd Noor and Shaw Letts as the booys play drum set, Djembe, tabla, keyboard, saxaphone and even break out to songs. 9:30pm onwards @ Space
