5th April – 10th April
April 5, 2010
Even though we don’t say this often enough, we wish to give thanks – to what we have been privileged enough to have gotten and keep: great colleagues, happy clients, tasty bites and mind blowing music. We hope that the weekend has given you much needed release and rest!
MONDAY
It’s the first Monday of the month and Omniform is back with the works! We have a brass section! It’s jazz like you’ve never heard before if you’re new to our scene. The band plays original composition written by resident musician, Greg Lyons. So grab a chair and a drink to unwind tonight. 9pm onwards @ Cafe
TUESDAY
We have new faces in the house! Rahul and mates will be jammin’ and if R&B is your thing, you need to head on up to LOUNGE. 7:30pm onwards – don’t miss this acoustic arrangement with his velvety voice!
WEDNESDAY
And if you’re feeling the mid-week itch, come on down for groovy sounds from none other than our Grooveworks – a premier jazz band in the making with musicians of heart and soul! 9pm onwards @ Cafe
THURSDAY
Listening isn’t enough? You need to swing, move, groove, shake? Jitterbugs does a Swing Fling night @ Cafe and DJ mixes up some great music from the 30s to present where lindy hoppers take to the floor. Don’t be shy if this is your first time out, Sing will give a complimentary demo – just ask! 8:30pm onwards
FRIDAY
For those who have never caught this group, you need to come down for Fuse Collective – headlining the talented Muhd Noor on drums. And for those who have tasted the magic, I’m sure you’ll be back for more. Sets start from 9:30pm onwards @ Cafe
SATURDAY
And it’s double dose this weekend with Noor coming in for another round with some snazzier sounds and rippin’ energy. 9:30pm onwards @ Cafe
Dubwise SG features Guna and will be brining some dubstep, bass and more bass to your ears. Step up to Lounge from 9:30pm onwards for the darker and more seductive side of electronica music.
Soundscape is back – with a little of funk, jazz, house and a good bag of mix guaranteed to get your body on the dance floor. 44 Beats is their name and music their game. 9:30pm onwards @ Space
Peace out, ya’all
