Even though we don’t say this often enough, we wish to give thanks – to what we have been privileged enough to have gotten and keep: great colleagues, happy clients, tasty bites and mind blowing music. We hope that the weekend has given you much needed release and rest!
MONDAY
It’s the first Monday of the month and Omniform is back with the works! We have a brass section! It’s jazz like you’ve never heard before if you’re new to our scene. The band plays original composition written by resident musician, Greg Lyons. So grab a chair and a drink to unwind tonight. 9pm onwards @ Cafe
TUESDAY
We have new faces in the house! Rahul and mates will be jammin’ and if R&B is your thing, you need to head on up to LOUNGE. 7:30pm onwards – don’t miss this acoustic arrangement with his velvety voice!

Listening isn’t enough? You need to swing, move, groove, shake? Jitterbugs does a Swing Fling night @ Cafe and DJ mixes up some great music from the 30s to present where lindy hoppers take to the floor. For those who have never caught this group, you need to come down for Fuse Collective – headlining the talented Muhd Noor on drums. And for those who have tasted the magic, I’m sure you’ll be back for more. Sets start from 9:30pm onwards @ Cafe

Acks! Egads! We (ok, I) have been having so much fun just grooving and chilling in the lovely al fresco area that we (ok, I) forgot all about them words….
So if you have missed MON - WED - be sure to catch us next MONDAY with the ORIGINS - yes it’s a JAZZ band.. SURPRISE!!!! and on Wednesday, we have another… JAZZ Band! More surprises! We guarantee though, they aim to please and your ears will thank them. Grooveworks takes the stage with Jazz standards and of course our lovely REGGAE beat music maker: DJ Divine on the 2nd Flr on Wednesdays (most)
Now, no excuses, kiddies! Jitterbugs present the most enthusiastic dancers to the floor and they’re warm and friendly – they don’t bite. Show them some of those smiles, those shaking booties or at least the clapping of them hands…. for AYASCHOOL! It’s hard to consistently come up such incredible music but week after week, they do! 9:30pm @ Cafe (there is NO reason not to be here!)

Jazz Colonies is a spanking new group with Darren Moore as the ring leader. Showcasing only original compositions, he takes the crowd to an intimate setting. 8:30pm onwards @ Space. Cover is SGD 15 per pax (ppssstt support the musicians!)
WEDNESDAY
Greg rides in with his saxophone and some very talented students. It’s Grooveworks this mid-week with some jammin’ and singin’. Easy on the ear and soothing for them souls. 9pm onwards @ Cafe
If you’re not quite feeling up to some of those polyrhythms and syncopations, head on up to Lounge with DJ Divine on decks. It’s skank music and your hidden Jamaican self would appreciate the tunes he spins. 9pm onwards
And all the way from Indonesia as part of the Mosaic festival, we’re pleased to have BONITA with us. Raised in a musical family, Bonita pushed her talent to full throttle -Â working on her own songs while also providing vocals for other acts. Together with her band, Bonita prides herself on always delivering soulful performances. 9pm onwards @ Space

I’ve always found the word, swarmy, fascinating. The fact that it does not exist makes it more so. However, one has the freedom of coining words while out of the serious literary context. And this week seems to tell of swarmy weather – and in which case, we recommend a glass of iced cool tea – with a punch, if you will.
