15th June – 20th June

June 15, 2009

A wise one said – if your work is fun then work your life away. I’ve, since relegated him to the other category : the un-wise. We have some fun times for you and ‘forget pills’ coming in liquid form by the names of San Miguel, Erdinger, Tiger and such.

MONDAY

If you’re feeling the work week blues, come down and join the Quinzy Band tonight for some good ole fashion music – fresh from rock/pop radios and such. While this Canadian band is in Singapore, they’ll be play @ Blu Jaz on Mondays to help rock the blues away. Commencing from 9pm @ Cafe

TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY

let’s all say it… GRRRRRROVEWORKS baby! it’s jazz in the house with Greg Lyon’s and friends – a band of enthusiastic musicians experimenting with jazz. 9pm onwards @ Space on Tuesday and @ Cafe on Wednesday

THURSDAY

Grab your flirty skirt or your 1920s suspenders! We’re going swinging! A swing fling that is, an evening of Lindy Hop – a dance filled with laughter and fun…. free class awaits you at 7:30pm by the Teacherbugs of Jitterbugs! @ Cafe.

FRIDAY

Greg Lyon’s Quartet returns to Cafe (1st Flr) with some favorites and even more experimental sounds, so come along, have a sit – better yet – order your favorite poison- and tap along. 9:30pm onwards
